I was almost certain from the moment I set my eyes on this, that it was a HDR piece. Of course, then, i looked at the comment and affirmed it.
There are some factors on an image that leaves a mark that it was done HDR-style. However, what you could aim to do, is to create a piece that is so fine and realistic, that it doesn't even look like it was a HDR piece, but rather, an extremely dynamic piece that looks almost like a scene from a memory. I'm sure =realityDream would be a good source of inspiration for that!

I have no problems with this picture overall except a few factors.

The introduction of the signboards and what not at the bottom of this picture borders along the line of 'should i include this, should i not?' and ends up becoming distracting.

I guess also, that the attempt to include the bridge was for a form of leading line, being a base of the buildings. However, It just seemed to create that barrier that made me want to look downwards even more.

The buildings also looked rather ordinary from this angle and perhaps you could try to pursue a fresh perspective, example, down up, from another building's roof or maybe from a building downwards. Sometimes, exploration and scouting does make a difference in a picture.
